Talking 2005 6MT Finally Here!

Hey Folks,

After a few months of waiting, I was just notified that my car is in the port and is scheduled to be delivered on 2/18. I can wait a few more weeks because that sounds a lot better than their previous estimate of March/April. I have the serial number and all that madness.

Anyway, it will be cool to learn stuff from a lot of you guys. In fact, I have already. Thanks everyone, I appreciate that. It just let's me know I ordered the right one.

I ordered a 2005 6MT coupe with premium, nav, splash guards, Sirius, in Lakeshore Slate. I plan on buying one of those smaller lip spoilers because to me personally, I don't like the stock one - it throws off the smoothness of the car and makes it look smaller. JMHO.

Anyway, thanks again to all of you that post informative stuff on the site. Folks do listen.

Cheers,
Mtnez

Oh, nevermind. I got it. Damn! You must feel like you're in a rocket. What's your gas mileage like?

Actually....I do not have much under the hood at all! I average about 19MPG, but I am a lead foot and that never nets very good MPG. I always go for handling before power, power is only as good the chassis and suspension it is pushing! I have lot's more to do, but as we all know it takes cash. Congrats on the new 05 6MT, I will be selfish in saying I hope it's not much faster than mine!
