04 G35 Coupe; Fans won't stop after tem seams normal?

Hi Guys hopefully one of you can help me!

my 04 G35 has been park for several months and recently began to drive it again... tho after a week my car star over heating... so i start with the cheap fix before i over acted, i change the radiator, T-sta, bleed the air out of the cooling system and i also changed my driver belts, the over heating when away but the cooling fans don't stop running after engine hits the normal temperature

so basically my fans ran at their highest but the temperature is at normal gauge ?

please help!

The fans turn on when the engine coolant temperature sensor is beyond a certain threshold. At this point the thermostat should be open and the coolant should be circulating, hence the operation of the fan(s). Are both fans spinning or just one fan? What is the actual engine coolant temperature reading from the sensor?

both fans spin and the temperature reading on the dash is right below the middle which i think is normal!

i just don't understand if the temp is normal the fans go off and they are pretty loud as of my AC was on!

The cluster gauge is not accurate. You need to get the actual sensor reading by hooking up the scan tool. Perhaps the coolant temp sensor is bad. There is a separate one for what you see on the gauge cluster (at least from what I recall).

I think it is installed into a metal cooling pipe at the back of the motor near the firewall, but check the FSM to be sure. Just hook up a scan tool and check the output to see what it is reading.
