Finally added oil today which is the first time I have put any in for 3000 miles. I bought her back in March and changed the oil after about a 1000 miles and since that change she really hasn't went through much (less than 1qt) considering she has just over 98K.
Hoping we have many wonderful years together before she needs some implants

Wouldn't you think it might burn a little more with those miles? I just checked and it was only about a half a quart low.

 

My girl has 117k miles and burns about 3/4 qt. between changes every 5000 miles so your car seems normal.

 

I though the use for miles was pretty good. I had heard so many bad stories that I thought I would post a good one.
My 2006 GTI 6MT 2.0L Turbo goes through about 1qt every 1000 miles, but still worth it. I love making boost
