KEY FOB Problems when its very hot

Anyone have similar problems with a 2004 G35 Coupe? When temperature rises, it doesnt always work when the Unlock and lock buttons are pressed on the Key Fob. Someone mentioned it was a BCU but I was wanting to know if anyone else has ran into this.

could just be a failing battery... in hotter weather, weak batteries tend to have less power output...

Do a search for door lock actuators. It sounds like they are failing and need to be replaced.

This is a common problem. I have had it, and replacing the actuator fixed it.

1/2 Of us have had this problem. I live in PHX so when the weather hits 118 my car's paint is at 150 and my actuators do this. See below for a good resolution that doesn't take too long!
