what should I do??

i took my coupe in like three weeks ago to have my seat replaced. well, when i picked it up the seat was replaced but my car had 51 miles on it. i didn't say anything til a few days ago when i picked up my g for some other warranty work. my SA said that it was cause it had to go to the upholstery shop. i didnt ask more... dont ask me why. dont know.

well, what do you think i should do? no one at the dealer cares... should i write a letter to infiniti or just chalk it up as a loss and move on??

hmm...if you had to get your seat replaced, why couldn't they just do it at the dealership? Did they give you a whole new seat? If I were you, I would get the address of the upholstery shop. Find out the round trip miles...and determine if it fits into 51 miles. This is 51 additional miles right? I would bitch at the dealership about the miles...and treat to go directly to Infiniti Corps to file a complaint about the dealership. This is why I make sure to get the milage on my car when I leave the vehicle for work to be done and check it first thing when I get the car back. Wells, good luck.

Why was your seat getting replaced? Cracking? Anyways if thats the case just be happy it got fixed and dont worry about the mileage. there's plenty of g coupes their no one was out joyriding in your coupe.

I don't think 51 miles is that unreasonable. Dealers work with several diff shops and I think that it is total resonable that they work with an apholstry shop 25 miles away. Ya that may be a bit far, but maybe they are really happy with their work. I don't think anything would come of it. If you are really curious, find out what shop they took it to and put it into yahoo maps from the dealership and see how far it really is.
