What to expect? 04 G35
I'm soon going to purchase a g35 (if all goes well by the end of this week) I'm gonna buy it off some guy on Craigslist, the car is salvage because the front right fender and door have been replaced. The car has 130K Mileage... What kind of maintenance am i going to need to do?

I would not buy it unless you plan on running a track car. A salvaged title 04 G with 130k can't be worth more than 5-6k. I don't want to sound pompous or anything, but invest more than that man. You can find the same thing without a salvaged title for around the 8-10 mark. If you're financing, do yourself a favor and pony up to the 250 payment. If you're doing it all cash, then put down the 6 and finance the rest. There isn't a bank in the world that wouldn't approve you with you putting down 60% of the loan.
If you must purchase then monstrosity and get it registered as a regular road going vehicle, expect that EVERYTHING must be done. Reasonably the window motor and oil consumption should have been handled by this point, but look into it. Your CD player may not work. However, if you have a tape player, you can just purchase an adapter for 3bux and listen to mp3's like the rest of america.

Pass on this car and look for a better deal on a nicer car without the issues.

I Have a salvage g coupe and honestly if i didnt buy it wrecked to see what i was working with i would not have bought it. i am much happier that i had the work done and know exactly what was done than having a previous owner tell me it is good. If you are going to buy salvage i feel the only way to go is to buy wrecked fix it and never plan on selling it. if you do try to resell it you are going to take a bath in all the money you put into it. that is considering you can find someone to buy it
