Ok, here is one thing I found to dislike in my G – no trunk handle. When closing the trunk there is nothing to hold on to. You have to push from outside which is leaving marks on my nice black paint.

How often do I use trunk… well that’s a different story.

That has been discussed before... about a year and a half ago. I hate getting finger prints all over my trunk after I've detailed it

I just grab the trunk lid from the sides and try not to touch the face of the lid.

Yes, this has been discussed long before. No handle, no keyhole. And LOL, at the fingerprints! It's just "one of those things." I try to use my long sleeve, or the side of my hand (in a fist position) to close my trunk without marking it. However, she gets wiped down at least twice a week with Zaino Z-6. Mine is Laser Red, and she shows everything. It's just one of those things you have to deal with.

I agree this is one thing that irritates me with the G. There is nothing to grab onto to open the trunk . But if that is all we have to complain about we are pretty lucky.

We're all in the same situation on this one. My old VW Jetta had a molded indentation the width of a hand on the inner part of the trunk which was meant to be pulled upon to close the trunk. I think Infiniti could have easily incorporated a molded handle into the design of the trunk but overlooked it.

I thought they did have that on the early 2003 models.

The sedans have a little handle, why wouldn't they put it in the coupe? The sedan was manufactured before the coupe came out, you'd think it'd be something they would incorportate.

i use the spoiler to close it and the bottom of the trunk to lift it...

why wont coupes have a handle like the earlier sedans? that handle ruins the whole back end of the car, its SOO ugly! i'd rather have a fingerprint on my trunk then an ugly squarish handle!

i permanently stitched a pc of detailing cloth around my middle finger and use it to close the trunk w/o leaving marks.
