Hey all, first off just wanted to say Hi to everyone here. I'm in a G35c dilemma. I currently own a 2001 Celica with all the fixins. I have finally decided to move past the "ricer" import scene and sell the celica. I just need some suggestions from you all. I fell in love with the 05 6mt when I drove it. Problem is I can't pull a $500 car payment. I'm only 22. (military) I like all the new details on the 05 (alum. dash, new gauge cluster, steering wheel stitching, chrome door handle) oh yeah and 298hp. Should I just hang on to the Celica till I can get an 05 slightly used or settle for a used 04 now? Thanks in advance for some guidance.

 

If you can find a slightly used 04 with all the options within your
monthly payment, I would go for it

 

What he said, but you can also get an 03.5, PLUS these ones have the Brembo's!

 

I'd keep the celica.... I am 23 and paying 530/mo(3.9%) + 110/mo for insurance

 

Yeah, that was a big deal for me...the Brembos that is. Everytime I find a used one and call on it....it's always sold. I think I like the added Hp, and all the little fixins inside more than the brembos, it's just the $$$ that's holding me back. What is the approx. invoice on an 05 6mt? The dealer in Clear Lake TX. said he couldn't go less than 35k.???

 

Well, I just located a used 04 with 19,385 miles. Aero pkg, premium pkg, 6mt blk/blk @ a Lexus dealer asking 30,995. That's below Blue book, i'm gonna check it out tomorrow, what do you all think? Seems like a good price, plus i'm a heckler so I'm sure I can get it below that.

 

 

I know the Infiniti is made in Japan, I'm just going more for the Sport/Luxury. The G is a CLASSY car.
