I never gave the lady any money. It was her fault but she kept trying to turn it around on me. So I told her that I'd send her $100 her way just so she would go away, but she's on her own with her repairs (I never gave her any loot and I don't intend to). I am going to take it to my local body shop place to have the guy check it out.
I know what I was getting myself into by not calling the cops but she kept insisting not to do it (I kept saying it several times), and frankly, it was late and I was tired and on my way home, I just didn't feel like waiting for them either. I do have the lady's information (I stuffed in my glove compartment, but I thought I left it at the scene), although I'm not sure what I want to do yet. The body shop guy will probably give me the best advice on how to go about resolving this.
Obviously I wish this didn't happen but I wasn't the one who made the mistake and I swerved as much as I could which really minimized the damage of both vehicles. It was stupid of me not to call the cops, but at the time, I managed to convince myself that my choice was the best.

Relax man, it's just a car. The most important thing is that you're ok... the rest is fixable.
On a side note though, I think you made a mistake by not calling the cops. If she doesn't want to call the police, it's her god damn problem. If she has some insurance problem or just wants to avoid bureaucracy crap she shouldn't be driving in the first place. I don't know, but if you ask me, people who are afraid to call the cops have something to hide that doesn't smell right...
But you're ok, nonetheless - you should be thankful.
Good luck.

Damage comes to $1,090. I just left a message with her and hopefully she'll call me back and we can work this out. I was nice enough not to call the cops so she can be nice enough to send me a check.
focker, no drinking at the time.
CarCrazed, that is basically what I was concluding on the spot. NYC cops already have an awful response time and this accident had no injuries, and this lady was trying to turn it around on me and I couldn't trust a cop to file an accurate report (youngen in G35C vs old spanish lady in crappy Saturn).

Just to float this thought....
You do realize that if say a person driving by saw the accident, and for some reason, felt compelled to call the police incase of injury, and as the police pulled up, saw both cars involved driving away from the scene, youd be facing way more than $1000. Just a thought, but people do call the police when they see accidents, and a leaving the scene ticket isn't by any means fun. Accident = Call cops. If not, she can say the reason YOU didnt call the police was because the accident was your fault.
On a less harsh note,
Thats not too too bad of damage, atleast its not worse.

EX-250, in an accident you are not REQUIRED to call the police if neither parties are injured. But you do have to settle the accident on the spot via written statements and exchanging information. I should have gotten a written statement.
For those of you think I'm a dick for my first two posts (one that started the thread, and my response to iLLG35), when I got home I was so pissed off so I had a drink or 5 and then decided to log onto G35Driver and lash out.

I still belive all women drivers should be home cooking meals. Instead of smashing up G35 Of corse it ok for them to make a beer run for there Hunny.
Get your car fixed and move on. Dennis
