Bat's Taillight Lid Overlay for the Coupe(PICS)

Finally finished my taillight Lid Overlay for the coupe. I designed it so it follows the angle of the taillight. What do you think?

Not for me, just looks kind of tacked on and out of place IMO.

Yea, i usually like your stuff since I have every smoked overlay you offer, but this kind of overlay just doesn't cut it for me. Doesn't fit the classy lines of the G35 imo.

Sorry Bat, I'm not liking it either, makes the lights look weird. Changing something just for the sake of looking different sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

Looks horrible. Light mods should IMPROVE the look of the light assembly, not make it look worse.

Another idea I had but didn't get a chance to do is to just make the Overlay go straight across and follow the upward angle like this one.

Hmm, interesting new idea....but as with more tail light overlays, I'm not feeling it.

not really my thing but one thing I noticed is the end of the right side should be cleaned up, the angle is off a small amount kinda ends to abruptly. I see how you tried to follow the lines of the tailight but I think it would look better like this;
