I just switched my window motor with a brand new OEM one...My problem is once I connected everything I got nothing at all with the window, the power locks work but not the window...I've been searching for about an hour now trying to find out what it could be, Ive read it maybe a fuse or the entire switch itself and that possibly I might need to get a new one..Has this happened to anyone else and found out what it was? I don't want to start wasting money on parts I dont if its a simple fix. Thank you In advance your help is much appreciated!

 

Did you check to make sure the motor is getting power to it? Maybe you did not reconnect some things all the way? Try banging on the door while holding the up switch, even if you somehow got a bad motor, that usually tends to get the window to go up.

Why did you replace the window motor? Did it slowly die? Or did it cut out all of a sudden (performing just like this one)?

 

The motor took a crap on me but I got the window to were thanks man!

 

Could be main switch that thing is like 400$ at the dealer. I got used one for 50$ solved the problem

 

This story could make you feel dumb. I share my car with my family, sister is learning in it for example.

I get in the car and readjust seat settings. Get comfortable. Put car into drive and try and lower the windows. Drivers goes down just fine, pass will not. Surprised I pull over and see if I can hear the clicking sound. No sound, not even the click of the switch.

WTF.

Turns out my sister bumped the window lock button. What a stupid *** little button making me curse my car. I pressed it in and window works fine.

The point?:

Check your window lock button.
