Hello,

I recently bought some trim removal tools and was wondering how to go about removing this piece:


I've tried prying it lightly around the edges but I fear I might break the clips.

I also got the Haynes manual but it references the pre 2005 refresh model.

How should I go about removing this?

Like many of the G35 interior pieces, it is held on with bayonet style spring clips that just need some force to release. Using your hands press inwards to release the pawl while at the same time pulling upwards. Then just pull the piece off.
