Audi or a BMW

 

I would buy 6 or 7 used Toyota Echo's, and then invite all of you guys for a demolition derby. Do you ever have one of those days where you feel like breaking or destroying something? I think that would be a great way to vent.

Seriously, since I don't care for the newly designed Maxima's, I probably would have purchased a TL.

I would have kept my modded CL Type S until something I really wanted came out.

The G was the only car that fit my needs perfectly and that's why the CL is gone!

 

Last May was debating between M3 and G35. Decided on G35, mainly because the new look or body style. Actually this morning, I called bmw dealership, if they have any of the new " Interlago Blue metalic " in the lot. So Im still thinking about it.

 

No doubt about it: Certified Pre-Owned E46 M3.

350Z Track doesn't have a back seat.

S4 has too many maintenance problems.

STi is too raw.

Evo is just a piece of crap (albeit a fast, well handling piece of crap).

Can't get an AMG with an MT.

C6 is a Chevy.

 

Before I got my G35c, I strongly considered teh E46 M3. After I found out I qualified for VPP, it was a no brainer. If the G35c didn't exist, I would probably be driving a M3 right now. If the S4 came in coupe form, I would have considered that as well. My next car will probably be the E90 M3 (pending looks), next GT-R, or Porsche 911S. Since I don't like getting first year of new models, my next car wouldn't be til probably 2008.

 

Probably a fully loaded TL or a used M3...

 

i would have bought a nice cheap beater of a car and then invested the rest into the market (stocks)

i could be a millionaire so easily....all i need is the first hundred grand

 

There's a lot of different cars that I like within the price range, but if I was looking for a car like the G35 Coupe and it wasn't available, I'd probably get a BMW 3 Series. I like the Acura TL, but I probably wouldn't buy it because it's FWD.

E Class Benz even though it has 4 doors. I still think it looks nice

I probably would have just kept my I35........
but it rode way too soft for my taste.

2) 350Z
3) used E46 M3

I test drove (in this order, all manual tranny) S2000, STI, RX-8, 350Z, used 330Ci, then G35. G35 won by a LARGE margin. I have always LOVED the E46 M3, but it's just too darn much $$$ for me right now. If I would've test drove a used M3, I would probably buy one...but I'd be eating Ramen noodles everyday...as it stands now I can afford to go out AND drive a nice car (G)

The STI is a nice car for my area; all wheel drive would be nice...we do get snow & ice here. But alas I kept my beater for winter and went for the purdy red G35 coupe - why trade in a car that runs great and is paid off?

 

word. we on the same page and s.hit! the only thing i disagree with you is the EVO. i think the interior of the EVO is better looking than the STi.

 

Mooser, love the post about the 7 toyota derby! I'll swing past the ford dealer and pick up 7 focus's to through in the ring with the echos (even better how about a ford fiestiva or whateever they call that ford riding mower with doors). I think they offer a mower deck as an upgrade on the Toyota echo thought haha.

I almost got an audi TT instead of my G35c...but the TT's are tiny, and the interior is very plain The G interior kicks the TT ***! I think the G would take the TT off the line too (they are only 225hp quad engines). I almost had to find out the day I test drove a TT cuz the dealer was trying to talk it all up and trash talk everyting under the sun. It was able to chirp all 4's with the quattro though when you popped it out.
