hey whats up? so as my title says, i just bought a new g35 (new to me that is). basically, i have no idea what im doing in regards to cars. sure, changing the oil, basic tuneups, and the theory of operation i get but anything more in depth and im lost. the most awesome part about buying this car is that when i look at her, all i see are possibilities. basically i want to put cold air intake, 20" rims, new tires, new spoiler, and exhaust for now. however, i dont really know much about the infiniti and i know that alot of the decisions are going to be what i prefer, but some input from fellow g35 enthusiasits would be great. it would at least give me a direction to start heading. also, im a little confused on getting new tires/rims. i pretty much have the rims that i want to get picked out, but i just want to make sure that i get the right ones per say before dropping a 1,000 bucks on em. i went to discount tires to speak with one of the guys about what i need and what will work. the guy said that all you have to do is bring us the rims and we will figure out which tires will work best. he said what would be ideal would be 9.5's in the rear and 8.5's in the front. so i was looking up the rims online and it asked what kind of offset (high or low)? this i dont understand... will all of the rims be one size and the sizes of the tires change or will the rims be different sizes as well? some websites say that the rims will fit my g35, but then some websites will say they wont. so as you can see, a little help would be great. also, the guy kept pushing for continenal tires, from what i've looked up online for the reviews, it appears that continetal is garbage. any ideas? thanks.
