Spongy fabric near rear seats coming off
Hi all...
I've got an '04 coupe. The spongy fabric on the side of the interior by the rear seats has come lose on one side. The fabric is sticky on the back but it seems like whatever adhesive was used by the factory has worn out. Has anyone had and fixed a similar problem with their coupe? I'm trying to get an idea if rubber cement or white glue would work to reattach, and also how to get the 'lip' of the material back into the plastic groves that surrounds where the material normally goes.
Any help or advice would be welcome. Here's a photo of what I'm talking about, in case its not clear from my description:

Thanks in advance.

Many have the same issue. I think it actually looks better with it off. Cleaner look.

3m makes a spray on adhesive for fabric. Called something like "Fabric Adhesive" in Black can.
You can buy it at auto parts store.
Spray it onto the back of that material....wait a few seconds and then mash the material onto the panel. Start towards the middle and work your way out when placing the fabric on to avoid bubbles/wrinkles.
Follow the directions and it will be on for a long time.
