Door panel fabric/leather pulling off

what adhesive/glue have you guys used to secure it back down?

This is the material on the door inserts with the foam backing.

i have the same problem on my passenger rear door penal, its not that bad yet. but u have two options when it dose get bad,

-replace door panal (new or used or from junk yard)
-or take apart ur door and use a "fabric glue spray" or something like that.

here is a google link to show you ideas what to look for:

3M Super 77 or 3M Super 90 is what you can use. Both are available at Home Depot where the glues and adhesives are.

I used the Super 90 to recover headliners. It's good stuff...but be careful where you spray it. If it gets anywhere you don't want it, get it off FAST!

That's what I'm thinking. Spray would be tough as I don't want to get it everywhere.

I don't think it's necessary to replace the whole thing. It's just starting to pull off near the edges.

Could prob be some other adhesive you can spread and then apply to the areas coming off

I used the 3M Super 77 and the Super 90
They ended up peeling back off in the AZ heat.

I bought some 3M Car Interior Adhesive that is heat resistant. It was like $15 at Checker.

No, it wasn't the super 77 or 90. It was a car specific application. Heavier duty stuff. Should be able to find it at Autozone or Checker/Oreily's or NAPA.

Used for auto interior, trim and headliners.

as simple as it is, super glue has been holding for me on this situation for more than a year.
