Rear axle squeak - Parts and TSB#
OK,
Just thought I should share this info with everyone since there seems to be some confusion/ignorance on dealers’ behalf.
The following are the parts that need to be replaced along with the TSB number for this problem.
This fix is for the rocking squeak from the rear axle. The squeak comes and goes intermittently. Usually shows up when coasting down hill (foot off the gas). If you brake the squeak goes away.
TSB #05-002
Parts to be ordered:
Bearing-Rear axle in -------------- 43210-AL505
Joint Assy Outer ------------------ 39211-73L00
Repair Kit Dust Boot -------------- 39241-73L28
Seal Grease, Rear Hub ------------- 39252-35F03
Pin Cotter ------------------------ 40073-0L700
