Engine splash guard question

This is probably the stupidest question ever but I have no other G35's to look at so can any one of you tell me if this is the Engine splash guard? It looks rather generic. I never got one with my car.

Yep, that looks like the main one. Not sure if the coupe and sedan use different engine guard though. I know from experience the side splash guards are different since they don't fit on my car.

I would say that is the one. Looks generic but they have the nissan part number listed on the description so it looks legit.

If it is, it's either missing parts or not a factory one. Mine has aluminum or steel supports running along the inside edge of it for structural support so it's not flopping all over the place. I'm pretty sure those aluminum brackets aren't easily removable either. I think they are riveted into the plastic cover.

For that price, you'd be better off spending the little extra bit on a tollboothwilly aluminum splash shield

supposedly it does. it creates drag, cause the air is not streamlined and creates turbulence. I would also second the idea of getting the aluminum one by tollboothwilly.

Your G will never never again break the 200 MPH barrier unless you put an engine cover back on.

Don't forget the 14 bolts to hold it on! Real PITA every time you change oil.

Get Tollboothwilley's it keeps your front bumper much more rigid, better protection, rides a little higher, and has a removable door for changing oil.

Nissan installs the splash guards to keep your engine clean and dry! Do you have any idea how much sensors that keep our engines running cost? Trust me, you're better off with a splash guard...just not eBay trash!
