I am 6', and sat back there while a buddy who like 5'6" sat in driver's seat. While my knees didn't even touch the front seat, I did have to lean my head forward to clear the glass. A lot more roon then I thought there'd be.

 

I have the 6 speed coupe and I dont have the armrest in the backseat.

I also have a 6MT coupe with the armrest up front, but it could probably be better used by those in the back . I'm short, so I'm too far up for the armrest to be of any use to me, but it does look nice.

 

Yeah that was pretty much it. This won't determine which car I would buy, but im just wondering. I havn't test drove either car yet, so I still have to see.

What was pretty much it? I'm curious since you never specified - were you talking about doing the horizontal mambo in the back seat, or how much room there is for passengers?

BTW - I don't have an armrest in the back of my 6MT Coupe, but I do have some kind of center console with a removeable cover (for first-aid kit, or whatever).

Yeah sorry I didn't respond. Yeah I was wondering about fooling around in the back. I looked at some pics, and there is a center console which would make things pretty hard. You are saying you don't have anything? Maybe pics? THanks alot.

Y'know, most of us don't cite the rear center console as the G's most exciting feature, but whatever floats your boat...

What are you saying? Maybe if you were keeping up with the posts you'd know what this thread was about. I never said the center console was the G's most exciting feature. I was simply asking a question about the backseat.

Well, my interior is graphite, and I don't have the nifty Infiniti logo on that center panel (but if you pull it up and out, it says "Nissan" underneath), but yeah, you're not going to want to do much of that back there. Even if the console wasn't there, it'd be awkward though, unless you're both rather short. Besides, cleaning the leather... personally, I'd rather just bring a blanket and go outside so I can look at my G while this is going on, but everyone's got their own thing.
