The Skyline GTR is going to have 450Hp V6 TT engine (or V8 N/A which Compact Car rules out as possible). Price tag of 70+K is correct.

I assume the GTR will carry the Infiniti badge, but will the Supra carry the Lexus badge?

funny that someone brought up the supra, i've been looking at the rumors about the supra lately. this is what i've found....
Some say it will be under 30g, others say it will be over 90g.
Some say it will come out at a toyota, others say lexus.
Some say it will come out late 2005, others say 2007.
Some say it will be a v6, others say v10
i've also seen alot of different types of concept for the new supra.
so i guess its still anybody's guess till toyota is ready to release some news about the supra.

The new Supra is a Lexus, v-10/v-8 still out on that, and its a supercar status with a 6 figure price tag. I for one love vettes, always have, but I'd take a GTR anyday, no questions asked! Thats what I have read, know, and or feel. Peace

I am sure I read about the $30K Supra because the article talked about one of the biggest problems of why they ended the Supra: it's price tag. They also mentioned to compete with the 350Z, which starts around $26K. So yeah they may have a base Supra for roughly around $30k in 07, if that article was not bs'ing. If you think about it, it's not that hard to believe. They'll steal the market if they release one under $30K!! but it'll have to have at least 298hp

Check this link for an article on the 07 Supra. They are saying under 30K and that Lexis will build it's own super car... Not sure if this is just rumors or not

Man the facts are getting all mixed up..........the car in the autoshow was the new
Vehicle: Lexus LF-A concept
Engine: High-output double overhead cam V-8
Horsepower: More than 500 hp
This is there concept supercar and I believe its going to be in competition with the GTR with a price tag just around $100k.
The Supra is supposed to be in competition with the Nissan 350Z and will come with an option V6 or V8. The price tag will be similiar to the 350Z.
Why would they replace the Celica with a Supra? There oranges and apples. The scion is what is replacing the Celica. The Celica was far no means a sports car and this is what a Supra is.
Toyota see's how well Nissan is doing with the 350Z and is jumping into the bandwagon.
The Skyline sold for approximately $89,500 for a 1999 Skyline GTR R34. I found this on the internet. They are not going to price this around the the $50k in my opinion. Expect it to be somewhere around that price. Come on its a SuperCar! Plus its main competition is the Porsche 911 and they start at around 70k. So if you can pick a Porsche or a Skyline....knowing that a Skyline will kill a Porsche at the same price...I think I would pick a Skyline.
