Okay guys, my G is about to get a heart transplant, but there's ONE small problem that keeps bugging me. What is the difference between the prior/up until 09/03 engines and the 10/03 and on VQ35DE's that keeps popping up? Is there any difference at all? I'm guessing there is, otherwise there wouldn't be two separate options.. I don't have the build month/year on my door jam for some reason thanks to the previous owner, and I contacted a live Infiniti representative, but she said it was produced on 4/21/2004 given the VIN. That doesn't sound right to me because plenty of the 04 guys I've seen had their month/years either right before the 09/03, and it's considered an 04 model, or after that.. I seriously need some input so I can go ahead and get a fresh VQ35.
