Hi All.

I tried searching, but could not come up with a definite answer.

On my new-to-me 04 G35 coupe, with auto transmission I noticed that the shifter acts a bit sloppy and the bottom sleeve is cracked. It was also very worn so I went ahead and purchased a new shifter (which is on the way)

Out of curiousity, I removed the shift **** to see if I could secure it somehow and noticed a blue stick inside that is snapped in half. Now I assume I would need this part before installing the new shift ****, but does anyone know where to get it and/or a part number?

I forgot to take a photo of course, but I found this on google images. You can see the blue stick in the background.

I don't want to delve into the FSM for you, but it is in the FSM. Someone recently did what you did too, and it was answered on the thread so search up
