So I've looked at many videos of these cars ticking, it could be a lifter, the timing chain, the timing chain adjuster, and etc. The car has 146k it runs perfectly fine car is in great condition. But it has this ticking noise that is annoying me and is embarrassing. See if ya guys can help me out I don't wanna pick and choose randomly on what to fix.

Definitely a valve tapping in my opinion. I had the same exact sound with my G after I passed 100K miles. It was so annoying to me that I bought a new set of heads from Z1 performance.

 

So exactly how bad is it? Would it be better to get some heads from a lower mileage engine?
