Ive been there and had this debate MULTIPLE times. I have had vinyl, painted the roof, and even dipped it. If you are going to go out and do it, do paint. I dipped the roof and glossed over it, and it looked good but when I paid for the paint it looked GREAT!!!

Black on IP is nice. I have an IP and originally had vinyl. The installer fudged it up so I peeled it and dipped my roof. Not 100% happy with the dip but it gives me the look I want. Ill eventually paint it for sure.

Anddd who cares. Theres still OGs on here. Irrelevant. Look back at all the posts on this thread, there's plenty of people who have nothing against dipping.

Why did you put newspaper down?

That was totally unnecessary. You can just put pressure on the roof and peel away at the rubber any time.

Done rounding up ur posse urban? And I'm aware of how it works but I put the paper down bc I didn't want to waste the dip and spray everywhere I didn't need to
