Just wanna see what u guys think about painting the roof black like the pics below. Whether u think it's stupid or unique, let me know.

 

Got mine wrapped in matte black had it over a year and looks real good IMO

I know about dipping but can u point me to a website that has these wraps? It's Simply vinyl right

 

vinyl looks like azz imo. keep it to paint. the reflections of anything in the vinyl are blurry compared to actual paint. there are a bunch of threads talking about this. search.

 

I love in jersey it's a small shop called auto image there should be shops all around and it was only $100 for roof and no peeling crackin looks juss like matte black paint trust me I got a lot of people that thought I painted it

It was cool when it first started, but I don't think they've aged well. Seems its a bit of a fad. Even I don't find it that cool anymore. Just kinda something that didn't stick.

 

Honestly depends on the original color of the car. IMO it only looks good on white or maybe red but I'm not a huge red fan either. It'd probably look ok with the SS color but other than that just keep it stock.

 

I like it personally. Paint will give a better clear reflection but vinyl is cheaper and reversible.

 

Bought my IP with roof painted black, cleans up the look nice esp if windows are tinted!

 

Black roof on a black car looks great. Otherwise, on any other color it's not my preference.
