how to improve dead pedal?
I was sitting in the fancy cars at a dealership, and the E92 M3 had a good dead pedal position. If you are like me, your left foot ends up flat on the floor and you just brace you knee against the door if you take a turn. Seems like the decent sports cars you are actually supposed to be able to brace your foot against the dead pedal during a turn.
So I'm not a master fabricator here, but any ideas on how to build up our dead pedal forward more about 3 inches? It has to still be removable or else we'll block the fuse panel. But I also don't want it to be EASILY removable and it ends up under my brake pedal like a water bottle:
I was thinking maybe buying a 2nd dead pedal, stack it up like mom's tupperware, then JB weld it on top of the first one. Then I can still reach the screw clips with a screwdriver.
