I took possesion of my 2003 M6 at around 11:45 today. Got a speeding ticket at 12:04. It was the first time I decided to give it a litle bit of juice...

Has anyone ever even heard of someone getting a ticket that quickly?

Kind of, there was this guy that bought an '04 Maxima and got a ticket the same day... he even had a pic of his car next to the State trooper as his sig.. LOL

I got my first speeding ticket a whopping 2 months after getting a new car, so I can't compete

 

took me 6 months to earn mine

 

I thought the M6 was the manual trans with sports package.

 

"6MT" buddy...

 

The cop and I were sort of laughing at the situation. This was my first ticket in about eight years, and he could see the the ownership date, so he knocked it down from 102km to 75km in a 60km zone... no points.

But WTF... I guess I really need to be carefull.

**** it though, I'm happier than ever to finally have a G35 in my driveway.

Well, at least it was only a speeding ticket. When I was in college, my room-mate's girlfriend bought an M3. We took her to the dealership to pick up her car. She got in her new car. And proceded to get T-boned right in front of the dealer on her way out. (M3 was totalled). In her defense, the other guy ran a red light, but it was still a sad sight...

 

I bought a BMW 540i in Houston Texas, and that day, on the way home to California, I got a ticket going 82 in a 65 mph zone. I had just slowed down from 115 mph when the highway patrol caught me. It was my first ticket in 25 years!!

 

a friend of mine got his drivers licence (for the first time in his life) and decided to celebrate it ( russian style ) ... when he and his friends got out of vodka and beer, he went with his buddy for a ride ... both could barely walk

long story short, both were lucky to stay alive and the car was totaled ... jail, DUI and so on ..

all that within 10 hours of having the drivers license

I am sure it is not a record but the story is pretty entertaining imho

 

I got a speeding ticket in one state and a warning in another on the same day.

 

I got two different tickets (84 in a 45 and 103 in a 45) within 10 minutes on the exact same street from two different cops. That's either utter stupidity or just plain ****ty...either way I've got you beat!

 

Yea I think you got me beat. That must have sucked. It had been so long since I got pulled over....just hate that sinking feeling....
