Here's a couple pics from when I did my transgo install... as you can see its not for the faint of heart.

Feel free to PM me if you've got any questions about the Uprev tuning as well, I've done a couple

Sigh*

Midwest transmission shops are a bunch of Wussies. None will do it around me. I have a press and other shop tools in my garage. Any tips? The DIY here is missing some pictures.

Where are you located? Place down the street from me quoted me $200 but I think it would end up costing way more in the end. Was just an over the phone estimate. Regardless im going to swing up there & see if that price holds true!

At that price I would be very wary. You'll spend almost that much just in fluid... Typical prices I've seen around are $500 labor + fluids

Sorry that was the price quoted for the install with me including all the parts. The kit is around $230 and probably another $75 in fluids. I'm just gonna bring everything up there and see what they say, if its anything over $400 in labor ill probably suck it up and have a sunday funday at the folks "where my tools are" and give it a go. I just hate working under jack stands....odd i know...i just do

No problem, if you install yourself please post back. Curious how long an install like this actually takes, for a mechanic or a noob. I would fall in between there somewhere haha

If your passing at 50mph at full throttle it will downshift to second.

It depends on what speed you entered on and how hard you are pressing.
