seatbelt squeak???

seatbelt squeak???

anyone else have a really annoying squeak from their driverside seatbelt only when engaged??? its making me crazy.

I did.....twist the plastic seatbelt guide behind your head so it doesn's rub against the seat. If you still cant get it ....little felt pad to prevent rubbing would also work...just cut a thin strip so it's not noticeable.

thanks GIZSF, but its coming from the where the seatbelt and receiver meet... you know down by your right hip.

My squeak alwasys stops when I adjust the angle of the highest point of the seatbelt (the adjustable plastic feeder, see pic). I just point it straight down, and it stops.

ps this is for a passenger side squeak I get.....but just realizes you were talking about the drivers side

thanks madchef... but its coming from the seatbelt holster clip when the seatbelt is inserted. you know... down by the right hip.

Try q-tip-ing the clip and spraying a little wd-40 into the clip ....its worth a shot.
