Scraping precautions! Help

Hey guys first of all no I do not want to raise my car so that is not an option. I live in an association and they installed pretty gnarly speed bumps which I take at a huge angle but there are the few that I cant avoid and scrape. Now its not the frame hitting so im fine BUT it is my Injen exhaust and its quite the nice upgrade. The muffler in the mid section hangs low and as well as the OEM cats... any way that there is some sort of plate out there that protects them from scraping per say? Is it something I have to fab up my self? Please let me know, thanks guys!

You would have to fabricate something. I would say deal with the speed bumps:

The closest thing I could think of would be the GT Spec underbody brace, but I don't believe that is any good on lowered cars for how low it sits.

Speed bumps are a major PIA! Since it's the mid section of your exhaust system that's scraping visit you local muffler shop and see if they can raise that area. An extra bracket or heat to give you an extra inch or two might allow your exhaust to survive...Gary

herrschaft.. I checked those out and seems like a great idea but im afraid my exhaust wouldnt clear those braces

Gary.. Sounds like a good idea I should actually probably have that done, lets see if I can get a sponsorship from my local muffler shop haha!
