A friend of mine wants to trade my aem short ram intake for his z tube and stock air box set up? Should I? Don't know much about cars so an advice would be appreciated , thanks

its basically the same thing. the AEM will prob heatsoak more due to the metal, but for all intents and purposes it is the same thing. dont waste your time. unless he wants to pay you for it.

 

Well he offered to buy me a oem Rev up box, with his z tube and a new k&n filter for my intake, I've been having my intake since I got the car and well I wanted to try something new but if it makes no difference then I guess I won't take the offer lol

 

Can't ever go wrong with the z tube and rev up box
I'd make that trade.

 

So would I. Noise level will go down a bit but performance will come up a bit in the trade off.
