Unhappy Looking to buy a 6MT but now i'm worried....

I've been reading about how the tires wear out within 10k miles and the brakes do the same. Does anybody know if these issues have been address in the 2005 version or if i'm going to have the same issues?

Also, I know i'm probably getting a lot of the worst becuase people don't post about their car running correctly but if it's bad enough to warrant a class action suit there has to be some merit to it.

i dont recall any tire wear issues. the tires are pretty decent and i know some people with over 50k miles still running on the stocks. as for the brake issue, im pretty sure infiniti has already addressed it.

I'm at 9k miles and my brakes are fantastic...my tires on the other hand are not, and should be replaced within 2000 miles at the absoslute latest. However, I'm not the average driver. This resulted from a lot of really hard launches, and a lot of showing off. If you drive sensibly, you'll be ok, but then again... if you drive sensibly, what's the fun in owning a g?

Let's be honest----If anyone expects Michelin Pilots to last more than 20000 miles without rotation, you don't know tires (20k might even be generous).

For me, the most exciting time is when the tires do wear out so you can get on Tirerack and order a new (read: bigger) set. I can't wait to get a set of Potenza S03's.

Ah, the sweet smell of new, fat tires!

Whoa Whoa Whoa...hang on a moment there buddy...rotors are not pads...and even pads don't need replacement each year unless you are hard on them and drive lots of miles per year.
