follow these simple rules:

If it is a slow changing readout...digital (oil temp, coolant temp ect)
If it is a fast changing readout....swing arm gauge (or AEM type with LED indicator) (boost, oil pressure ect)

The reason is that your eye can see the gauge's arm movement and know that your pressure/boost is increasing a lot easier than focusing on a number display and knowing what it said. Your brain will remember where 15psi is on the needle, or 120psi ect...

Make sense?

Oh yeah that makes total sense. My biggest focus on this was mainly the accuracy and ease of install to measure slow constant readings. With the variable readings like a tach the LCD/ digital display has lag and isn't going to show you an accurate readout at a glance.. That is why I hate my cluster on my bike.. Its all digital one second I am going 45 then 65 then 85.. Its just not my thing.. I'm still interested in maybe a standalone sensor for my oil pressure or my coolant pressure. I totally agree though and thanks for your input.

There's a bunch just coming off your sensors already, and then you can also get a small "expansion pack" that includes the codes for a bit more functions and gauges.

Not to mention it can log your location, Gs pulled, and all sorts of goodies like CEL codes and clearing.
Is that your factory nav screen running Torque?
