[QUOTE=coolsk8er]

unless you wanna look like an arrogant bimmer driver who turns on fog lights on a clear day

--------------

ya, i dont agree with this either. its not arrogance to turn on your fogs on a car that has the 2 fogs seperate in the bumper. in my opionion, it just looks better even on a clear night. there is just more symetry (lets not get caught up in sematics, i know 2 is just as symetrical as 4!) to the 4 lights as opposed to 2. again, just my opinion.

Before I upgraded my fog bulbs I was embarrassed to turn them on. I thought the dingy yellow stock bulbs looked awful.

I also think the stock HID's don't need any upgrading at all. I thought about going with 6000k HID bulbs, but I watched someone else drive my G away and I thought the HID's had a nice crisp white light. I'm leaving them stock.

I used them even before I changed out the Fog/High bulb....I think it helps with the poor visibility the G seems to have compared to other cars of equal value.....
I think Projectors is the next upgrade Infiniti should consider on the next generation model......

Well, if its a clear night out then shut it off. A pair of HID should be shine enough for the road infont of you. Turn them on if you have bad vision, your safety 1st buddy unless you want the look better than your safe ride. Same thing with day time, I drive with my lighs on. Not to show off but for those guys changing lanes infront of me as some1 said earlier!

so tell us which bulbs you recommend in the fogs to match the HID's... instead of
babbling off how much they suck. We all know it's a yellow hue.

You will get a dozen different answers. I have the PIAA Xtreme Whites and they match pretty close, but not exact.

In winter times, I always have the fogs on with the headlights. I like having them lighting up and filling in the immediate area in front of the bumper. In summertime, I may turn it on/off depending on driving/weather situations. My $0.02.

I don't really notice a distinguishing difference between having my fogs on or off. I got PIAA Extremes and ran them on for about a month, but one burnt out. I took it out and misplaced the stock ones, so I just left it out. Never got around to buying new ones. Although I've never had a need for high beams/fogs I stll get embarressed when I flash someone to let them go and only my drivers side lights up.

Fogs on, I replaced high beam with Catz Galaxy White. They are the best match to stock HID's, but you cant get them anymore. At least thats what I have been told. The store that sold it told me that CATZ retired from USA. So you can get them from Japan or maybe (like I did) from ebay.

Aren't fog lights supposed to be yellow? Something with more visible light reflecting back towards you? Look at an is300, those fogs are built to be yellow.... same with many off-roading products.
