I just picked up my new '05 DG 6MT. I'm enjoying every minute of it so far.

The first thing I noticed was the rev light right in the middle of my gauges. I was just wondering if there was any way to turn it off. I read the manual and it said to set it to 7900rpm and it will turn off but I think it was talking about the little red sqaure thats supposed to light up. I don't know if theres one there because I haven't redlined the car yet.

Also, I read a few days ago that the bose would sound different when you turn it off and back on. I definately have that problem. I was just wondering if there has been any update on that.

Other than these two minor things, I love the car. Just gotta get used to the clutch as it catches a little higher than my STis did.

 

congrats bro. it has been about 7 months and i still cant stop staring at my car. hope you like it as much as i do. once you get it broken in and all, please post your impressions about it vs the sti. i love sti's, i feel they are technological marvels. i havent driven one yet (closest i came was a normal wrx). i am interested in whether or not you regret your decision of coming over. i still second guess whether i should have gone for that awesome 300 hps awd instead of my g....
