Need help making sedan rims look good on a coupe
Yeah there was no other way for me to title this So I bought some 06 G35 Sedan rims for my wife's 03 G35 which was probably my first mistake since there is a difference of about 15mm between what her OEM's are and these are I believe but at the price of $300 with good tires it was hard to resist at the time.
Now given the situation I was reading through alot of threads that concerned spacers and hubcentric spacers. Seems most go with hubcentric once you go over 5mm but it does seem like I have quite a bit of thread left on the studs once the wheels are rested against the hub. Has anyone here been able to pull of a 12mm spacer that is not hubcentric?
My thought behind this was as long as I can get anywhere from 8+ turns out of the bar when tightening the lugnuts that it should be more than safe. Thanks for any input.. I'm trying to keep this as cost effective as possible considering everything we have going on at the moment financially.
Here are some pics of what we're dealing with.
