the reason i ask is because lightwerkz told me it would be easier if i just got a set of the stock bixenon projectors and they would be able to upgrade the projectors and paint my housing etc.

 

Don't do that, man. I know its yours, and you earn the money, and you can spend it however you want, but the 06 projectors are already rare enough as it is without everyone painting them, and modifying them, etc. They are so nice in stock form, you can't improve on them. Not to mention that they'll be basically worthless once you do that. You're gonna spend $600-900 for the lights, then another few hundred on the "upgrades", and for what? So they can be worth $150? Keep it classy, man.

 

Dirty you're wrong here.
Lightwerkz will retrofit TSX lenses/projectors and make them worth even more-hundreds more. Op you're doing it right using them. Nothing wrong with upgrading the lenses/jectors and getting more out of them. Look them up and see just how good and "classy" their work is. My buddies cutoff with just TSX lenses now on his impreza is awesome.

 

Alright, I'll take that hit. Like ive said before, I'm still kinda new to this import stuff. Sometimes its hard for me to tell a vossen from a mishimoto. (I don't even know what that means). Haha I just figure its pointless to mess with them at all.
