1.9% & 2.9% financing on the Coupe?

Does anyone remember when Infinti started offering 1.9% & 2.9 financing on the 2004 coupes? Like at what month of the year? Reason I ask is I expect to get my 2005 in March and I'd love to see them start offering just in time. I'm guessing it was towards the end of the year when the 2005's were coming down, anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance

2.9% was only available on sedans and on the FX I think, and that was around August of last year.. it was never offered on the coupe.

I am pretty sure that offer was only for G35 Sedan at interest rate of 2.9%. However, some have mentioned that they got 2.9% on the G35 Coupe w/auto transmission.

I don't think Infiniti ever offered 1.9% financing?

Someone please verify.

I got 2.9% in May of '04 on my 5AT. I don't remember them saying anything about 1.9%, though.

I think it began early December and ended ~Jan 7th. I bought my G coupe on Jan 15th and was able to get the 1.9% apr even though I was out of the offer period. I think it was mainly a promotion to sell the 04's to make way for the 05s. I don't know if you will be able to get rates that low on an 05. 1.9% up to 36 months, 2.9% up to 60 months.

2004 G35 Coupe Current Offer - 1.9% APR Financing for well-qualified buyers

1.9% APR financing for 24 and 36 months or 2.9% APR financing for 48 and 60 months for well-qualified buyers!

http://www.infiniti.com/acquire/Nati...rs/0,,,00.html

I didn't make it up...

the same offer is available for both the 2004 and 2005 sedans.

When I almost bought an 04 Coupe in early Jan I was getting 2.9% for 60mo from the dealers.

I ended up at 3.99% for an 05.

mine is 6.2% for 60 months with excellent credit. 2.9% was available only on sedan. dealer said demand for coupe is so strong, they won't negotiate the APR, but seeing many coupe owners with much lower rate, i don't think it makes a lot of sense now. this was at the end of january 04, trying to refinance for lower rate...

That was because he got you on a couple of points....most likely if you have good credit you may have got approved from the bank at 4% or so and they just tacked on 2% and they make profit on that along with the profit they make on the car....this is very common which is why it is a good idea to get a quote from a bank prior to buying a car.

I 2nd it. I had gotten approval from my CU for 5.59 before I went to get the car. After the price was determined (was able to get 1k of MSRP) I told them yea i am approved for 4.50 so no biggie. They ran my credit (beacon of 796) and said I cant match it but I can get 4.85. I was like yeah its better to just have all the deal done here instead of going to the CU get the check then come back blah blah... lol. Get approved first and put the pressure on them

FYI...The 1.9% deal for the Coupe is for 2004 models, not 2005.
