Test driving an M3 tommorrow!!!

I am considering getting an M3 or maybe the 05 boxster S.
You guys have any suggestions for a sports car priced about 50k.

I prefer m3 rather than boxter S. performance wise they are pretty similar i think.. but the m3 offer you real backseats. the boxter on the other hand, barely has backseat.

The c6 did cross my mind, but I am not a big fan of american muscle.
It would be nice to have a stock low-12s car.

C6 is a very nice sports car -don't count it out before you drive it.
The Boxster has great balance & handling.
If you need 4 seats get the M3, but it is a sports coupe, not a sports car.

The M3 is definetly a sports car and I would own one over any other choices you mentioned. Get the M3. I used to own one and wrecked it stupidly and I was gonna get another one but instead I got on the List for the New M5.

I didn't think that either the M3 or the Box-S stock were mid 12 second cars...

Best times I've seen are low-mid 13's. I did see a M3 post times in the high 12's but it was not stock.

I think he was refering to the C6, but I could be wrong.

M3 or the Corvette C6...The C6 is put together much nicer then many would expect from an American Muscle car...Boxter just doesn't do it for me, more of a chick Porsche, lol...I know its the type "S" so its got more power and what not but its just reminds me of the lowest class Porsche, "can you say low class and Porsche in the same sentence?" lol...Anyways if you want a true sports car then for 50k I'd look into a 1998 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo...They are beasts power wise, rare and the engine can take all kinds of punishment...Not only would you be the only guy at the light with a 98 twin turbo but in 11.5-12.5 seconds you'll wipe the smile off of any Porshe or BMW owners face...And that my friend, would be priceless ...Gluck and let us know what you decide on...

yes it can be considered as a sports coupe, but go drive it, its a damm sports car in every aspect! Hmm that's a tough decision man, new Boxter S is nice and will be very quick, not as fast as M3 but will handle better out of the box, i got the M3 and couldnt be happier man, and now just wait and see what i have in store with it haha, lets say goodbye Carrera hello Porsche GT2, see ya
