Help: car jerking

Hey guys so recently while driving at constant speed and while accelerating I feel a jerking motion. So I have a aftermarket sub installed in my car and when im listening to music loud my car starts jerking once in a while but when the music is on low volume or off it doesnt do that. I was thinking it might be the battery what do you guys think? I tried researching on it but could not find something similar with a solid answer.

How much power are you putting out? Do your lights flicker? Could be your alternator is not strong enough.

No the lights do not flicker or anything. Just for less then a second i feel a jerk and i can feel it in the peddle as well. I also have a JVC aftermarket double din installed and today when i pulled up to a red light the din just randomly reset while I had my music playing

I used to have a 1000W amp and sub in my coupe and it would jerk or lights would act up more so at night when I had the headlights on. I put a 1F capacitor in and the problem went away. Most people are against that, but in my case it worked for 7 years until a few months ago, when I realized I'm older now and need trunk space, lol. Try unplugging your amp or sub first to see if the problem goes away. Depending how much power you put out it might end up needing a "Big 3" upgrade.

If you are still driving more power then you can produce you will drain that battery too. I would monitor voltage across the battery!
