Plug gap after adjusted AFR ?
Plug gap after adjusted AFR ?
Need some input. as we know the 2003-2006,early-7 model ecus run lean. Partially from the Plenum starving the 1st two cylinders and throwing off the overall emissions average and the very conservative AFR tune from the factory.
I am about to get the plemun spacer done on a 5at, and also getting a hand tune to solve a few nagging issues with the trottleplate, rpm limiter and the Factory AFR.
But something nagging voice is wondering if I need to narrow the gap on the NGK plugs to account for thicker fuel mixture.
stock gap is .044.. im wondering if I need to go to .042 or .040 to account for what is likely to be a much higher AFR.
Thoughts ?
