Has anyone done this before, my steering wheel airbag deployed and melted my clock spring plugs. Is it safe to change the melted plugs or the whole clock spring. Thanks for your cooperation.

You will need to replace the spiral cable(clock spring). Odds are it may have shorted the spiral cable anyways when the connectors were melted.
