2004 G35 Wheel & Tire Question

I have a 2004 G35 Coupe, and I just started modifying it. I hate the stock 17" rims and ugly tires (F: 225/50/17 & R: 245/50/17) Michelin I have because I want to drop on Tein S. techs and I don't think they'll fit because they're huge and if they do they'll look super ugly. I'm trying to avoid having to pay for a camber kit. So I just want that small subtle 1.2" drop Tein S. Tech offers.

So I was thinking to buy new tires, which I can't decide on a good affordable brand besides Falken at my local Discount Tire, but with the sizes (F: 225/45/17 & R: 245 or 235/45/17) but I don't know what wheel specs to look for when buying new 17" wheels. I'm barely learning..

So I have these questions..

1. What are some good affordable tires for 2004 G35 Coupe? Brand?

2. What Tire specs should I put? What wheel specs will match those tire specs?

3. Where is a good place to find decent priced wheels? Tires?

4. If I drop on Tein S. Techs springs will I need to have a camber kit to have a proper ride?

5. Will 18" OEM Wheels/ Tires tires from the newer G35 coupes fit my 2004?

As you can tell I'm new to all of this and like to be completely sure. Please don't get pissed at me about not searching, I just want a user specific answer I'll delete the thread once I got my answers. Any advice and car modifying ideas are also welcome! Thank you guys!

Links to which ones you're talking about? These are the only ones that come to my mind, and if these are the ones that solves both my wheel and tire problems because I love these wheels. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=121459468409

We were all new once!

Welcome to Driver! If you dislike your 17" wheels why spend more $$ on tires? Check our our Marketplace under Private Classified wheels/tires for a set of '06 coupe 19" wheels, they often come with tires. Search 19" coupe wheels, they're really nice! When needing new tires check with www.thetirerack.com they sell tires at wholesale! Regardless of how you lower your coupe you'll need a camber kit so you won't destroy your tires...fact! Any wheels that came on our coupes even the G37 coupe wheels will work on your '04! Just get the wheels and tires you want before jumping on the mod wagon, any mods you make are expensive. Concentrate on making sure your '04 coupe is in great shape, oil/filter changes + all fluids should be changed every 30K miles. Nothing wrong with asking questions but we'd appreciate your using our Search and read all the stickys at the top of the coupe page, that's where you'll find a lot of answers. Good Luck & Enjoy the ride...Gary

yeah they'll fit and they're a great looking and well made (forged) wheel. Best bet imo until you can pick up some kind of other quality wheel.

They came with the car when I bought it. My car is 100% stock other wise. When I get coils I'll probably get some spacers as well if I don't get wheels right away:
No problems though.

How much? They don't have to be perfect but next week I get $500 more dollars plus the $200 I have right now. So I don't know how much you'd sell them for. I might have to wait two weeks if over $700, but I'd buy if the price is decent. If you can wait..

Dude I know I'm comfortable keeping these for a while. I just hate my tires and wheels right now. Yuck! I have the ugly 6 spokes.

Even if you don't go with the OEM 19s, stick with the same diameter.
Just based on looks alone they will always top 17/18in. Also, they fill gaps much easier and won't have to deal with the ugly, meaty tires. However, tires will be a bit more expensive but honestly it's well worth it for the looks and performance they give.
Best of luck! Much support for a fellow service member.

Do what you want, its your car ......but cheap and affordable are the two worst descriptive words for ANY purchase/mod on an Infiniti.

Search 06 coupe rims in the marketplace and just do it right, not rice. Be patient, parts aren't going anywhere, **** is for sale every day every where....
