To Go or Not To GO with FI?

for those of you who have FI on G35, do you have any problems, maybe blown engine?
the compression ratio for G35 is pretty high.. it's 10:1. So I'm worried if I put FI, the engine will blow.
I was thinking to just go with N/A, since it does not have any risks of blown engine, but I feel that it does not produce as much power as FI.

So, should I go with FI or not?

If you can afford the parts cost, install cost and the cost of a possible engine replacement then by all means, go for it
Its all a money game

Otherwise, I would play it safe and stick with NA

You can go with Stillen stage 2 supercharger, and get the 3yr.engine warranty. Cost around $5K. Problem is, you need the stillen hood.

4 months and 2300 miles, no problems here!

I waited until I had 11k on the car to make sure I got the bugs out before blowing the warranty.

I really doubt I could go back to a n/a G now.

Power is addictive though. I could use another 100hp! Oh well!

Randy, where are you?

Check out the Techical forum under the forced induction section. Should be a ton of information relevant to the questions you have.

Good luck.
