Aluminum Foot Pedals

Are the Aluminum Foot Pedals standard on the G35 coupe 6mt? I have seen some pictures of the 6mt coupes that have the regular rubber kind. Can someone clearify this. Thanks in advance.

Re: Aluminum Foot Pedals

You are probably thinking about the 350Z which has standard aluminum pedals.

Re: Aluminum Foot Pedals

Also, some of the early literature on the coupe showed the aluminum foot pedals, but Infinity decided not to have them by the time they reached production.

Re: Aluminum Foot Pedals

I paid around $100 shipped for the pedals on my 6MT. Everyone says they are difficult to install but they weren't really that bad. A thin screwdriver will help. I ordered mine online from Grubbs Infiniti in Dallas. Here is the link.....

Re: Aluminum Foot Pedals

Ahhhhhhhhhh HoresSh*t wadda mean there aren't aluminum pedals on the 6mt. This is crap all this time I thought I would get the Cool pedals and now If I want them I have to add them and deal with them falling off and the screws sticking out the bottom like on my frekin Prelude!!!!! This Is CRAP Infiniti!!! somebody please relay my message to infiniti for me I'll get out of control If I talk to them. The Friggin S2000 came with aluminum pedals for cryin out loud and that crap A$$ celica has them and not the car I am about to spend 40k on!!! Ok I'm pissed now time to go to bed, at least I got to vent!

You want your foot to slip every time it rains? Buy the blasted pedals and give your temper a break. Geez...

Man, Gforce, you've got serious buyer's remorse issues. The pedals are $70 bucks at strictlyz.com ($90 for the MT) and fit perfectly (they're Nissan parts). Relax. Now not only do you get your pedals, but you also get a customized look that 95% of other G owners won't have. Frankly, I prefer it this way.

Re: Aluminum Foot Pedals

You all need to relax I was half kidding! There are plenty of things that I like about the G that outweigs what is under my feet when I am in the car. Those pedals in the pics Look nice I'll have to check them out when I get the car. LoL the thought of bolt on aluminum pedals just brought back bad memories of my prelude which had crappy aftermarket pedals that never would stay on right thats all.

Re: Aluminum Foot Pedals

Check around for pricing before you buy them. $100 is a little high for the 5AT. They're about $80 shipped from strictlyz.com and cheaper still at nissanparts.cc (you need the part numbers which you can get here: http://www.smiley.net/g35/pedals.htm).

I agree that Infiniti really dropped the ball on this one. A lousy $50 (their cost) upgrade to a $30k-$35k car is a drop in the bucket, and really adds to the interior of the car.

Good luck!
