Claims of 19 mpg probably include city/highway mileage and a close calculation of mileage from a full tank to the next.

Ohh yea sorry about that I have 104000. And I do plan on changing the plugs and belt soon. I'm now thinking about the air filter too. Would you recommend anything else?

Make sure you're up to date with differential, transmission and engine oil changes, keep your spark plugs changed every 40-50k (I don't care what anyone else says), keep your tires properly inflated, your air filter clean and don't drive 80 everywhere you go. Also, no red light romps on the gas, or excessive passing.

O2 sensors DO progressively degrade, but you wouldn't see a significant decline in mileage unless they were actually broken, so changing them now wouldn't result in much.
I agree I definitely don't beat the car with my driving style that's the main reason why I'm confused about it.

All fluids/filters/belts and plugs is a good beginning. Look closely at your front tires, how are they wearing? If you can run your hand over the tread and feel an uneven surface, get an alignment! Make sure you're running at least 35 psi...I run 37 in all four corners. Are you using synthetic oil and quality filters like Mobil1 & WIX? That's a good

Would you look at your Vin # of your 07 G35 Coupe and see if you have 7M9 starting around the 11th digit ? I know its off your topic but I need to verify this referencing the
Rev up engine for 07 coupes only.

Thanks !

Thanks, I thought you had the 7mt .
I was wondering for the same digits in your Vin # what is it for the VQ35DE engine with A/T
The reason I ask is the original Rev up engine Vin # has 7M1 for G35 coupe 7m/t
The replacement engine if factory installed would have 7M9 in the Vin #, if it camw with the new LB part number.
I am trying to figure out where the 07 Rev up engines came from since the Tochigi plant were already building the HR engines for 07 and 08 G37 Sedan and Nissan 350z cars.

Oil makes a huge difference, ended up with 30w oil from nissan on a free oil change and dropped from 30mpg to 24mpg on the next road trip.

replaced 2.5ish quarts with 5/20 and got back 3mpg ..

Winter gas is awful. http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars...ence-13747431/

vq35de and vq35hr blocks despise winter grade gas.
