Question New Valve covers - Burning smell now

Hey All,
Bought a 2005 g35 107k miles.

New valve cover - dealer parts
New Crank shaft sensor
Replaced sparks plugs, denso's
New belts
Trans flush, oil change - synthetic obvisouly
New K&N Air filter

Just had the Valve covers, both sides replaced yesterday. After driving about 50 miles now, the car starts to have a buring smell while idling at a light, not while driving. Are the belts and valve covers just warming up now? Should I detail the engine to wash off whatever may be hanging around?
No leaks before doing anything of this, besides valve covers.

Thanks

Its been about 5 days now and im still smelling it in the cabin when idling, not as strong. I let the car idle on the driveway for about 15 minutes, didnt see any smoke. Im guessing the parts just need to wear in , smells like plastic/oil burning.

Well after 5 any over spill would be long gone and if your oil levels don't indicate a leak. You might be right or the smell for what over spill there was might be trapped in the cabin filter..... But I'm no expert
