Infiniti G35 2004 Engine problem
Yuck... that sounds bad. Can you tell if it's coming from the top or bottom of the engine?
It could just be a valve issue but doesn't really sound like a rod knock from what I can tell but maybe a bent rod and it's hitting the counterweight during each cycle of the piston. Rod knock typically has a slightly different sound and sometimes you'll hear weird bearing chirping noises too when you rev it.
The sound you have seems to be perfectly in unison with the motor and not really predominantly showing up immediately after letting off the gas on a rev (as rod knock usually does).
What happened to the car right before it started doing this? Were you racing or overrev it? Did it overheat? Did it get low on oil or did it go way way past the scheduled oil maintenance interval?

Sounds like timing chain tensioner/guide needs to be replaced. For a rod knock you can unclip the feed to the coil and if the noise isn't present when you rev the engine you found which cylinder has the rod knock. The rod will not knock if the spark plug doesn't fire in that cylinder.
