Ok so, I was driving down the freeway the other day and the sunroof glass just flew off
Now I am trying to find new glass but I don't know how to tell if it is a factory sun roof or not? Any help anyone can provide would be very much appreciated

If it flew off it's probably factory. This seems to be happening a lot lately on our cars for people who live in warm weather climates. Apparently the glue that hold the sunroof to the sunroof frame is old and becomes weak under the hot sun and flies off at highway speeds while open.
Was yours tilted up when it happened?

Check your seat belts, I've already requested a recall as the locking feature seems to not work on them... 10 yr free replacement.Originally Posted by guitarrocker98

Common issue unfortunately. Seeing this more and more. Unsure if there will be a recall, but sunroof glass flying off cars COULD be construed as a safety issue.
File a complaint with the NTSB and go on EBay and pick up a used sunroof assembly for $100-200 and install that.
Or file a claim with your insurance. Your car..
