Arbitrary book values on our cars

After a certain point... Kbb is just an algorithm with cars over 7 years old... Take your car and plug it in... Then double or triple the mileage and see what the values are.... Not much of a difference...
After a car gets to a certain age, mileage really doesn't matter much. A 12 year old car with 100k vs 200k doesn't make any difference in terms of reliability or price. You eventually get to a point where just basic age has just as much of a risk for part failure as does wear and tear.
